Biography

Nick has been teaching and guiding in the outdoor industry for the past 10 years. He has enjoyed sharing his love of experiential education locally here in Oregon, as well as the Midwest and internationally. From the arctic cold to sunny Mediterranean beaches, Nick enjoys teaching a multitude of different disciplines.

Nick will be teaching in the Outdoor Pursuits Program: PEO 351 Backpacking, PEO 391 Winter Navigation, and PEO 251 Rock Climbing.

Empowering people to push themselves outside of their comfort zones motivates Nick to teach. Making sure everyone is seen and heard, he wants everyone to have what they need mentally and physically to impress themselves and reach new heights.

In his free time Nick likes to hang with dogs and hang out by the ocean. He is currently learning to play the violin.
